Psychotherapy, counselling and supervion

Welcome

Counselling and Psychotherapy for individuals and couples.

We are a group of counsellors and psychotherapists working to help people deal with their problems. Examples might be depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship issues at home or at work, eating disorders, bereavement, lack of confidence or post natal depression. But the problem might also be less clearly defined feelings of conflict, of failing, being stuck or frustrated, or lack of confidence, not knowing what to do, not feeling at home in the world, or not having a voice.

Counselling and psychotherapy are about making changes, thinking differently and increasing your ability to live the life you want to lead. Talking to somebody in a comfortable, confidential and safe space is the essence of counselling and psychotherapy. Counselling and psychotherapy both look at issues in the present and may explore how the past might impact on the present. In general, counselling is more short term and more focused on present problems, psychotherapy addresses more underlying issues from the past.

To contact us, please email us and we will respond as soon as possible. All communication is confidential.

Covid 19: at present we continue to work, but remotely, either using Zoom or by telephone, depending on what suits each person best. We will return to working in person once advised it is safe to do so.

We are currently accepting new patients and referrals. You may prefer to wait to embark on therapy when it is possible to meet in person again. If you are undecided about this, we're happy to discuss it with you.
